Meet Octavia Soljour

Octavia's journey in the fashion retail industry spans over two decades, ignited by a childhood passion for style fostered during shopping trips with her mother. From those early years, Octavia navigated the challenge of dressing her petite, pear-shaped frame, unknowingly honing her knack for dressing to flatter her unique body type.

Upon entering college, faced with the pivotal decision of her academic path, Octavia heeded her brother's advice to pursue her passion. She embarked on a journey in Fashion Merchandising, laying the groundwork for a lifelong career immersed in the world of fashion.

Straight out of college, Octavia dove into retail management, dedicating eight years to honing her skills in the industry. Alongside her professional growth, Octavia embraced personal milestones, marrying her life partner and welcoming two sons into the world.

During her time at home raising her children, Octavia crossed paths with a boutique owner who would become her mentor, guiding her towards entrepreneurship. Inspired by this mentorship, Octavia seized the opportunity to launch her own venture, Soljour Boutique. As the owner of her business, she relished the autonomy and invaluable lessons learned along the path of entrepreneurship.

Fuelled by a passion for empowering women through fashion, Octavia found her niche in assisting women in discovering clothing that not only complemented their bodies but also instilled confidence, all at accessible price points. After five successful years at the helm of Soljour Boutique, Octavia embarked on a new chapter, pivoting her focus to personal styling, culminating in the inception of Soljour Styles.

Driven by her dedication to personalized service, Octavia now thrives on the one-on-one connections forged with clients, ensuring each woman not only looks her best but also feels empowered in her unique style journey.
